The RiderSystem is the high quality system of swiss ski schools, who have decided to offer ski lessons exclusively through professionaly educated ski instructors adhering to strict quality rules.:

Kids courses

Kids need adult skis just as little as they need adult coaching methods. What they do need is a program of courses which is adjusted to their strength and kinetic learning capability and training that is all fun and no hassle.

In the Kids courses A – D, they don‘t just learn what is taught in the Level 1 –3 coures adapted to their development potential. For the first time they are able to ride full speed in snow with kids of the same age.

Level 1 courses

Do you want to experience for yourself what your friends are always raving about? The Level 1 courses are the perfect way to get started.

 

Level 1A

4 – 5 lessons: Info about the equipment – Gliding and braking – Ploughing – First change of direction – Children and T-bar lift - First parallel diagonal runs

 

Level 1B

4 – 5 lessons: Diagonal traversing while parallel – Braking – Semi-parallel– First parallel runs – First turns with edge use - Unloading and loading

 

Level 1C

4 – 5 lessons: Half parallel – Parallel runs – Safe skiing on blue slopes – Unloading and loading in the turn – Introduction carving - Performance in simple terrain

Level 2 courses

So, you are not  new to skiing? You can get even better with the level 2 courses.

 

Level 2A

4 – 5 lessons: Introduction carving – Parallel turn 
with unloading and loading – Carving on blue slope – Waves-trough skiing – Introduction on red slopes – 
First slope tricks

 

Level 2B

4 – 5 lessons: Introduction carve turns with loading and unloading – First jumps  – Introduction short turn – Parallel turn with different radiuses – Safe skiing on red slope – Waves-trough skiing

 

Level 2C

4 – 5 Lektionen: Carving swing with loading and unloading – First fakie runs –Piste tricks – First jumps – Short turns on red slopes – Performance in medium terrain

Level 3 courses

You haven‘t had enough yet and want to deepen your skills? With the Level 3 courses you can complete the 
basic techniques and they provide the foundation for your further development in specific directions.

 

Level 3A

4 – 5 lessons: Short turn in steep terrain – 
Carving turn in medium terrain slope – Various radius 
carving – 180° - Safe skiing in varying terrain – 
Introduction Offpiste 

 

Level 3B

4 – 5 lessons: Caving on red slope – Short turn – Tricks in the park/ terrain – 180° – Carving turn in medium terrain slope – Dynamic skiing in varying terrain 

 

Level 3C

4 – 5 lessons: Short turn – Carving on red slopes –
Deep snow technique – Tricks in the park/ terrain and 
on boxes – Safe skiing in steep terrain – Performance 
skiing in all terrain

Allround courses

Above all you want to have fun skiing and be able to ski anywhere. From freestyle, freeride and carving to bindings and skis, the main thing is to have fun!  In the Allround courses you get to try out all aspects of skiing. It makes a complete skier out of you and provides you with the best possible basis to turn you into a 
Freestyle, Freeride or Carve and Speed specialist!

 

4 – 5 lessons: Technique for steep terrain –Introduction to moguls – First freestyle jumps – Advanced piste tricks – Safe skiing in steep terrain – Introduction off piste technique

Carving courses

Your world is precise carving technique with maximum hold using the edges of the ski on any surface. Smooth prepared pistes with from moderately steept to super-steep runs is where you like to be. Yet you know that you can only win the battle against centrifugal force with perfect technique and by applying your strength correctly. Your equipment is carving skis.

 

4 – 5 lessons: First carving turns – Carving with High unloads - Carving with Low unloads – Safety aspects – Carving technique for steep terrains – Skiing with extreme lean

Freestyle courses

You want to expand your „range of tricks“ and practise the finest slopestyle? Fat airs and spins are the real skiing for you. Nevertheless, the flowing, powerful skiing should not be neglected. Your equipment is twin tip skis. 

 

4 – 5 lessons: Fakie runs – Basic Air, Grab, Straight – 
180°/ 360° Jumps – Advanced piste tricks – Slides on boxes/ rails – Off-Piste jumps

Freeride courses

You would do powder, grooves, cliffs, park, jumps, speed and much more if you were King of Freeride!
Whether you prefer piste or backcountry, complete mastery of the ski on the ground and in the air is a must if you want to enjoy unrestricted freeriding. We‘ll make a backcountry specialist out of you with the first rules of conduct and 
tactical slope know-how. Your equipment is freeride skis.

 

4 – 5 lessons: Introduction off-piste technique– Short turns – Safety aspects – Short swing in moguls– Off piste carving  –  Safe skiing in variable terrain

Master course (SSBS Rookie Coach)

Is skiing already more than just a hobby for you?
Do you want to make further progress and in winter earn money with your skiing? The Rookie-Coach course gives you an in-depth knowledge of all you learned in the Ridersystem and the corresponding theory behind it. You will progress from pubil to teacher.  

 

Together with your SSBS school, the Rookie Coach course as a taster course gives you an insight into the  SSBS Instructor training programme.
